Community Education plays a key role in supporting youth through focused programs and opportunities. We provide more than just education and enrichment, we help contribute to a sound and thriving community by providing young people with engaging activities that help them grow.

Providing fun activities and learning opportunities for children year-round; after-school, in the evenings and on the weekends; to enhance your child's academic and social experiences while out of school.
Elementary and middle school athletic programs are supervised and led by certified coaches, licensed teachers or knowledgeable staff who emphasize skill development, participation, teamwork, and respect for others. Community Education also offers camps and clinics to help students gear up for the athletic programs offered at South Washington County high schools.
Kids Club (grades K-3) and Upgrade (grades 4-5) is the school district school-age child care program, open to all South Washington County Schools students and provided at all elementary school sites throughout the district. Out-of-School Time (OST) care is available before and after school and all day on school release days, including winter, spring and summer breaks.
Swimming and water safety is a skill that your children will use for life! SoWashCo Schools Community Education offers swimming lessons to support youth with a wide range of skill levels.
South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) offers activities and classes for youth through SoWashCo Community Education. Activities and classes are conveniently offered at your child's school, partner locations within our community and online.

All Sports Camp is open to young people entering grades 1-8 to provide them with a positive multi-sport experience.
Grades 1-8
Learn leadership, safety, basic care, the business of babysitting, and first aid for breathing and bleeding emergencies from a certified instructor.
Students must attend all 6 hours of instruction.
Ages 10.5+
DASH Sports track and field tykes camp introduces players to track and field events, including how to correctly run, jump and throw. All physical activities, drills and games are tailored to enhance overall athletic ability and performance.
Age 2-6
Serve, swing and score big! Play tennis and golf while learning new skills, making friends and having a great time.
Age 7-12
Students in grades K-2 will be offered their favorite games and activities. The games and activities are selected and modified to be appropriate for the younger participants' skill level.
Grades K-2
This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email.
Grades 9-12
Learn throwing, catching, batting and baserunning. Final day is "Game Day" to showcase skills. Baseballs and bats are provided.
Ages 4-7
Play soccer, basketball and flag football while building skills in dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Plus, enjoy fun games like Dodgeball, kickball and Capture the Flag!
Ages 5-12
Practice sprinting, throwing, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance.
Grades K-5
Develop tennis and pickleball skills while building focus, confidence and resilience. Coach brings pro-level experience to help players excel on and off the court.
Grades 2-8
Hit the courts for an exciting mix of pickleball and tennis! Learn skills, play games and have tons of fun!
Age 7-12
Spark Equestrian’s day camps at Serenity Farm teach kids the basics of horse care, grooming, and riding.
Ages 6-12
TGA (Teach. Grow. Achieve.) provides golf instruction, making it convenient and affordable to learn golf in a fun and safe environment. Kid-friendly instructors help your child learn how to hold a club, swing and play games that make golf fun and easy. Top-notch equipment and training materials are provided, allowing all skill levels the chance to come out and play with TGA!
Ages 4-6
Level up your pickleball game with fun lessons, friendly matches and new strategies to improve your skills!
Grades 6-8
An excellent alternative for any student unable to attend an in-person class, but still prefers interaction with an experienced instructor. Instructors teach live via virtual classroom and can answer questions when needed.

This camp is for all 5th-7th grade students in the Park High School boundaries, that are not already on the Park Tennis team. It's designed to teach the fundamentals of tennis along with fun games! This camp is intended to get more students introduced and excited to this wonderful sport and hoping that they will join Park Tennis as a 7th grader.
Grade 5-7
Learn CPR/First aid, how to handle home and medical emergencies and address problems in unexpected situations from Red Cross instructor. Get a home safety checklist and what your parents expect checklist.
Ages 7.5+

Soccer Shots offers a high-energy, fun, and age-appropriate introduction to the game of soccer. Each session provides an opportunity for kids to be challenged through fun games and team competitions.

Community Education offers teen driver’s education in partnership with Safeway Driving School. Learn to be a safe and skillful driver.
Ages 14.5-18
Improve test-taking skills and overall ACT scores. Including an introduction to ACT format, subject ara instruction, test strategies, overcoming test anxiety and time management.
Grades 9-12
A distance learning option with the same content as our in-person course. Classroom instruction is conducted through a secure Zoom platform.
Ages 14.5-18
