Skoolie

As Community Education programs grow, our need for programming space has become a barrier to offering new and fun opportunities for both youth and families. We know there are families in our district that may not have transportation or financial means to attend our programming. So...we're bringing programming to you!

Community Education has transformed a school bus for community programming. A Skoolie (or Schoolie) by definition is a school bus that is converted into a recreational vehicle. We are so excited to bring innovative programming to South Washington County School through this new mobile classroom.

Skoolie allows Community Education to offer convenient, affordable activities for kids to do on weeknights, non-school days, summer, and even weekends.

Show your support for our community through a Skoolie sponsorship donation! SoWashCo Community Education created the Skoolie bus to offer fun, convenient and affordable opportunities for youth and families. Skoolie is especially beneficial for those within our district who may lack the transportation or financial means to attend traditional programming. Our mobile classroom appears at more than 60 events throughout the year. Skoolie symbolizes the partnership between SoWashCo Schools, SoWashCo CARES Education Foundation and our community!

To become a Skoolie sponsor, contact Cheryl Jogger at cjogger@sowashco.org. All donations are tax-deductible 501(c)(3) contributions. The funds will help support Skoolie programs and events.
