This session is part of the Courageous Parents-Resilient Kids series funded by the Washington County WellSpring Project and presented in partnership with Washington County, South Washington County Schools ECFE, and Canvas Health.

DAYTIME PE LIFEGUARDS NEEDED (part time)

Got your lifeguard certification and your kids are at school? Apply to lifeguard during PE classes! Must be available to work all pool locations in Cottage Grove and Woodbury. Hours vary between 2 – 5 hours/day when PE is scheduled in the pool. Hours range between 7:55 AM and 3:00 PM. Must have a willingness to help teachers ensure safety and order while in the pool. Need to be at least 18 years old. APPLY HERE

LOVE THE WATER AND WORKING WITH CHILDREN? HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF SWIMMING STROKES?

(Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Elementary Backstroke, Side Stroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly) We are hiring part time swim instructors for multiple locations within the district. Must have a willingness to work with children and parents. Lifeguard preferred – but not required. We will train the right candidate!! Need to be at least 14 years old. APPLY HERE

Kids Club

We're Hiring! If you like working with kids and are looking for part time or full time work, Kids Club may be the place for you! 

Kids Club is a school age child care program operated by SoWashCo Schools Community Education. Kids Club is offered before and after school and on school release days at all 16 elementary schools. Experience working with children is preferred.

A new Computer Basics class begins Monday, Nov. 29 in the afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Senior Exercise - FREE afternoon classes now have openings! Monday/Wed. at 3:15 p.m. is SAIL – Stay Active and Independent for Life (Age 65+) and Tues/Thurs. is Strength & Balance

55 Alive/Driver Discount Program has openings for a refresher course on Nov. 11 (12:30 – 4:30 p.m.) or Nov. 15 (4:00 – 8:00 p.m.) Register by calling 1-888-234-1294.

Foot Care appointments are scheduled by appointment only on the first Tuesday and Friday of the month. Cost is $23. Service is offered by Ginny’s Footcare. Call 651-425-6650 to schedule.
