Calendar Girls-Day Trip for Adults 50+-Lake Shore Players in White Bear Lake-March 12. $59 Registration Deadline: Jan. 4, 2023. Join us for a comedy based on the true story of a small group of middle-aged women who decided to pose semi-nude for a calendar to raise money for charity. Fee includes the luxury motorcoach transportation and show.  

Raptor Outreach - Live from Shepard Farm! 11:45-12:45 p.m., Monday, Jan. 9 Join us for an interactive dialogue with a naturalist while meeting an education raptor. National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), 6:30-7:30 p.m., Thursdays beginning Jan. 12 Join us for this lifestyle change program, focusing on healthy eating and physical activity. Research shows that people with prediabetes who take part in a structured lifestyle change program can cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58% (71% for people over 60 years old). Monthly Police Presentation - 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13 Jan.’s topic is Home & Fire Safety. You will also hear from Deputy Fire Chief, Jon Pritchard, about a Fire and Fall Prevention Home Visits program they have available. Call 651-425-6650 to register, or let staff know when you stop by the District Program Center.

Knowing Your Muslim Neighbors, 3:15-5:15 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18 Who are Muslims and what are their core beliefs? How does this belief system guide the day-to-day lifestyle of a Muslim? What are the similarities and differences compared to American Culture? Class is designed to be educational and allow for open dialogue and Q & A. Light dinner provided. Park Grove Library - Winter Reads Program Join the Winter Reads adult reading program in Jan. or Feb. at Park Grove Library. Readers turn in book review slips (online or in person) and are entered into a raffle to win grand prize book bundles for each review submitted. Program ends March 1.

Delicious Cinnamon Rolls, Scones and Muffins at Generations Café! Generations Café at the District Program Center has coffee and a full menu of espresso drinks (regular and espresso) are available 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. Homemade scones, muffins and cinnamon rolls are often available too!
