How to Register

SoWashCo Schools Community Education coordinates activities and classes for all ages and abilities. Registration is easy! We provide various opportunities for participants to enroll in activities and classes.

Online Registration

Register for classes online - it's convenient, secure and available 24-hours a day. Eleyo, our online registration system, manages all online registrations. Use a Visa, Mastercard or Discover card to register, and be sure to remember your login ID and password for future online registration.

Please thoroughly review the policy and procedures below. If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact communityeducation@sowashco.org.

adult and youth enrichment, classes and activities

If you need to cancel your registration, seven or more days before the class start date, a per course processing fee will be deducted from your refund. If your course is between $5 and $124, there will be a $5 processing fee. If the course cost is $125 or higher, there will be a $10 processing fee. Due to staffing considerations, no refunds will be given within 7 days of the beginning of a course or session.

If you need to cancel your registration before the registration deadline, a per course processing fee will be deducted from your refund. If your course is between $5 and $124, there will be a $5 processing fee. If the course cost is $125 or higher, there will be a $10 processing fee. Due to staffing considerations, no refunds will be given after the registration deadline.

If you decide to cancel a class without enrolling in another in its place, the following refund policy will apply.

  • If you cancel a class before the start date, a processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
    • If the class cost is between $5-$112, there will be a $5 processing fee. 
    • If the class cost is $113-$240, there will be a $10 processing fee. 
    • Cancellation for the ECFE Friends class will incur a $10 processing fee.
  • If you cancel after classes begin, a pro-rated refund will be given up to four weeks into classes
  • No refunds will be given after the fourth week of classes.

Classes and sibling care with insufficient enrollment may be canceled prior to the class start date. If this occurs, you would be notified and a full refund would be provided.

No refunds or class make-ups will be made when classes are canceled due to emergency school cancellations.

Registrations fees are non-refundable after a student has been placed in a class. A two-week notice is required when withdrawing your child from class. Failure to do so may result in additional charges. All outstanding balances must be paid in full.

Community Education Program Agreements

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    • Thoroughly review the cancellation and refund policy and procedures listed above.
  2. After School Security
    • To maintain school security, SoWashCo Community Education cannot accommodate spectators for after-school enrichment or athletic classes before 6 p.m. For emergency access, please follow the directions located near the keypad at the school entrance.
  3. On-Time Pick Up

    • Children must be picked up promptly at the end of each Community Education class. If a parent or guardian cannot meet a student at the end of class, they must arrange for a friend or neighbor to pick up the child.

    • Instructors will call any parent or guardian who is late. If a parent or guardian cannot be reached within 10 minutes of the scheduled end time, staff will contact public safety authorities. Students may not be left alone in school buildings after hours, and instructors are not responsible for supervising students after class ends. If a parent or guardian is late more than once, the student will be withdrawn from the class without a refund.

  4. Returned Payments
    • If a payment to SoWashCo Schools Community Education is returned, the payer will be charged a $35 fee.

Media Consent

 

Media taken within SoWashCo Community Education classes, programs, events and activities, including activities sponsored or in partnership with SoWashCo Community Education, may be included in district publications. Media includes, but is not limited to, interviews, photos and videos. If you wish to opt-out, please notify our office at 651-425-6600 or communityeducation@sowashco.org.
